CPD (Continuing Professional Development)

CPD involves the maintenance and enhancement of competence levels.

The Regulator, quite justifiably, is very keen to be reassured that firms take reasonable steps to ensure that all their personnel, especially those holding controlled functions and with customer facing responsibilities, are taking reasonable steps to maintain and enhance their competence.

As part of our service to our clients we supply monthly CPD notes which are a synopsis of topical issues from the previous month and are accompanied by a 10 question test. The test provides evidence of outside sourced CPD which has been measured. The Haven CPD is, of course, only a small part of the overall CPD which an individual should undertake. We can help and guide in the structuring of CPD programmes with the overriding principle being that any activity undertaken is genuinely useful to the individual.
